A few months ago, our friends at Oxford Pennant generously made us a banner that hangs proudly in our production space. It acts as a friendly reminder to Fly The L, which started simply – a way to recognize when someone was wearing Left Field apparel – but has grown to mean so much more. PHASE 3 AND WHAT IT MEANS TO US AT LEFT FIELD BREWERY
As the province enters Phase 3 of re-opening, we’re gaining a little freedom back like catching a game at your favourite local, chopping our overgrown COVID locks, and one we’re looking forward to: (outdoor) karaoke – anyone know a good spot? As much as these savoury bites of summer are coming back to us, it still feels a bit like Groundhog Day here at the brewery. We’re running the canning line more than ever before, packaging most days throughout the week and canning anywhere between 10 to 13 thousand beers with each shift. As the only woman currently serving on the OCB Board of Directors and the only woman in most OCB government meetings over the last year, I feel compelled to speak-up given this week’s photo-op controversy.
