Summary
The Retail Sales Representative will be responsible for maintaining and increasing the distribution points of the sales portfolio across our retail sales channel (LCBO, Grocery, Convenience and Beer Store). This includes (but is not limited to) associated duties such as invoicing, trade marketing, data analysis, and the physical auditing of customers. This role requires both inside and outside sales activities that will require some travel in the market. The approximate split of activities is 40% in-store and 60% hybrid (remote) work. As a representative of Left Field it is expected that this role be executed in a way that improves the reputation of the company and upholds our Core Values.

Responsibilities
Developing and growing our retail sales (LCBO, Grocery, Convenience, Beer Store) relationships in the territory
– Processing daily Retail sales orders and creating invoices
– Making daily calls to Retail stores to maintain stock levels and increase listings
– Issuing weekly email campaigns to accounts to generate leads
– Coordinating sales order logistics with our distributor, and delivery department
– Answering retail customer inquiries and resolving issues
– Assisting with retail product inventory management
– Working with management and sales team to implement new retail channels and products
– Assist in developing annual, quarterly, monthly and weekly KPIs
– Track results against KPIs and identify areas of opportunity for improvement
– Report on weekly sales activities, results and insights and participate in weekly sales meeting
– Participating in ongoing continuous improvement efforts for the retail sales channels
– Assist with general sales channel administrative duties as assigned
– Assisting with the development and implementation of consumer and B2B trade marketing initiatives in the channel
– Visiting customers to educate staff, secure new listings, and audit shelf positioning
– Identifying new in-market opportunities to improve sales including but not limited to shelf position, paid promotions, and merchandising
– Compiling or using provided data sets to identify sales gaps and opportunities at new or existing distribution points and filling them

Skills & Qualifications
Mandatory 1-3 years experience in Ontario Beverage Alcohol Retail Sales, with a track record of success
– Self-starter and independently motivated to achieve results. Highly accountable.
– Personable, friendly and outgoing personality. Builds and maintains authentic, trusting relationships with ease.
– Strong communicator with well developed negotiation and persuasion skills
– Thorough and detail oriented. Highly organized and process-oriented
– Strong beer knowledge and has a passion for quality craft beer
– Creative problem solving skills
– Time management – able to juggle multiple priorities and re-prioritize tasks
– Positive outlook – able to see the best in every situation and turn negatives into positives
– Time management – identifies need to and is able to reprioritize tasks to meet business needs
– Highly independent and accountable
– High level of professionalism
– A strategic and entrepreneurial thinker
– G Class license with clean driving record. Has access to a personal vehicle for occasional business travel needs (mileage reimbursement applies)
– Experience with Ekos Brewmaster and/or Dig-This-Data is an asset
– Proficient with Google Suite – Docs, Sheets & Slides

Hours of Work
Monday – Friday, daytime
– Occasional evening or weekend work to align with customer needs
– Hours subject to change to meet needs of the business

Locations of Work
Remote home-office, in-stores, at the brewery
– Some business travel may be required with expenses being covered by Left Field Brewery
