BEER FOR EVERYBODY SPRING 2022: Community Fridges Toronto
Beer For Everybody is proud to support Community Fridges Toronto as the Spring 2022 beneficiary! Community Fridges Toronto is a volunteer-driven, Toronto-based community initiative with a network of fridges and pantries that offer free food to combat food insecurity. Their network of volunteers, business owners, and community builders provides hubs for mutual aid to occur, where community members can support others directly without intervention and outside of traditional charity models. Their current network of 8 fridges across the city provide access to fresh produce, whole meals, pantry goods and personal care items that can be accessed at any time of day, no questions asked, without enrolling in a program, and free from the stigma associated with food insecurity.
From now until May 31, 2022, 100% of profits from all Beer For Everybody apparel will be donated to Community Fridges Toronto, along with a $2 donation from the sale of every Community Mixed Pack from April 1st to May 31st.
Beer For Everybody’s intention is to showcase and support local organizations that work to dismantle systemic inequities. This initiative is not a single campaign, but rather a statement of our beliefs and a name under which we will continue to take action to uphold our commitments to equity and inclusion. It is our belief that beer can be a powerful tool to build community, to bring people together and to drive positive change.
